Check Out The ACT Meters GOLD-PLUS 6V/12V Intelligent Battery Tester
The new GOLD-PLUS Intelligent Battery Tester is a 6/12V lead acid battery capacity tester with Ah calibration control. It is designed to test 6Volt lead acid batteries from 1.2Ah to 12Ah and 12Volt batteries from 1.2Ah to 100Ah.
When connected to a battery, It accurately displays the battery voltage and Ah capacity available based on the battery age, temperature and state of charge. Batteries can be tested straight from the box and when fully or partially charged. A unique Ah calibration control is provided to enable Standby SLA (e.g. Alarm Systems), Cyclic GEL (e.g. Mobility Scooters) and Car FLOODED batteries to be tested.
The GOLD-PLUS can be used for continuous repeat battery testing and an LED indicator warns against accidental reverse polarity connection.
Batteries should be recharged or replaced when 'FLAT BATTERY' or the available Ah capacity falls below 65%. A table on the rear of the GOLD-PLUS gives popular battery Ah sizes and indicates when they should be changed.
